Celina, Texas is a relatively quiet community which until recently was mostly rural farm land.  Due to its proximity to the growing Frisco area, Celina real estate is undergoing dramatic upswings in construction and population growth. Since early 2005, when Celina homes and retail establishments began springing up all over the area, land values have tripled in price.  Moreover, the Dallas North Tollway which stops just south of the town, has expansion plans toward Celina.
