Getting back on that horse

Well it has been several months since I wrote something about real estate or a real estate related subject.  I found that inspiration and plain writers block came over me.  So, I thought I will just start writing, you know what they say…just hit the keys and a word or sentence is bound to come out.

So, I get asked this question a lot, “how is the market”? and frankly I will say that it sucks.  I had a pretty good year, but overall the real estate market is dragging and I really don’t know why.  We have low interest rates and a good inventory of homes, so what gives?  I guess I have to look an my situation and realize that maybe everyone is just a little afraid of the market and where it’s going.  Do we really know what our government or wall street has in store over the next few years?  Maybe everyone is slightly upside down on their current home and don’t want to shell out money to get out of their home.

I guess it could be a number of factors.  That’s why I will toot VIP Realty’s horn.  OK, let me present you with a scenario.  You have 2 kids, 2 dogs, and that spouse that just keeps nagging about living here or there or what this or that for the home, but you realize you can’t sell, because you will need to bring 4-5K just to pay for your current home and that doesn’t take into consideration closing costs or commissions.  I have an idea that might work for you if you’re willing to do a little work.  VIP Realty offers a Flat Rate Fee service which allows you to get your home listed and all the bells and whistles, but save you thousands.  Call me at 469-644-3402 for additional information.

I will add more details about our services in future posts, but if you need help find a home in the Frisco, McKinney, Allen, or Plano real estate markets please don’t hesitate to contact me or any of my agents.  Check for additional posts coming soon.
