Craigslist

Speaking with other Frisco real estateagents and brokers, I keep hearing that Craigslist has been a good source for advertising and finding buyers. I have dabbled with Craigslist for household items and used cars, but I never thought this would be a good place to find qualified buyers. So, I did some testing lately and I have found that there are several locations to place ads. In the discussion forums I found people that were looking for real estate advice, but if you are found out to be a realtor, they spam you out.
So, I moved over to the housing section. There are about 10 subsections in the Housing area. Most are not desirable realtor related area’s. The two main sections are commercial and residential area’s. I posted in both sections and received a couple emails for commercial advice, but nothing for the residential side. This makes me believe that you have to formulate a scam of some kind, to lure the buyer to your website.
I next checked out the services area, and once again nothing. Maybe I am doing something wrong, and if I am please let me know your tricks of the trade. However, at this time I will spend time on my blogs, and building my website using my core SEO beliefs. I know what works for me, but I am always open to suggestions.
